video excess

And doesn't this post just scream "bored tragic homosexual with too much time on his hands on a Friday afternoon"?
Several things:
1. It has the look of the movie of American Psycho, on which it was possibly an influence.
2. Love the dubbed on sounds of the swords clashing during the fencing.
3. What was it about venitian blinds in the 1980s (see Kim Wilde's 'Kids In America', Kim Carnes' 'Betty Davis Eyes' and indeed probably any video of the period made by soemone called Kim
and
4. I am ashamed to say that this video featured in the full-length video album of Newton-John's 'Physical' record, which I bought as a bootleg Betamax tape at the Barras in Glasgow for £5 some time around '81 or so.
Now there's a confession. (It also features her swimming with dolphins and writing around on a bed.)
